
The member of Ezdina's board of directors, Masoud Aqil participated in a seminar was held on 16 September at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, to discuss the human rights situation in the kurdish city of Afrin in general and the Yazidi Kurds in particular.
Representatives of United Nations Human Rights Commission and others concerned with the situation in Syria, as well as members of Yazidi organizations also attended the seminar.
Masoud Aqil told VOA, that such seminars are very important for the Kurds in Syria and especially for the minorities that live in the Kurdish regions, who are often victims of violence and being targeted by Islamic radical factions.
