A settler from the countryside of Saraqib, southeast of Idlib governorate, assaulted a minor girl from a village in Rajo district, northwest of the occupied city of Afrin.
Ezdina Organization's monitoring team in Afrin reported that the "Civil Police" gunmen in Rajo released the settler who sexually assaulted a Kurdish girl from the village of Kharabeh Samaqah, 30 km northwestern the occupied city of Afrin less than a week ago.
The monitoring team clarified that the settler comes from the village of Kafr Batikh in the southern countryside of Saraqib in Idlib governorate, He is called "Mamdouh Ramadan Aslan" and works as a shepherd in the village.
The team indicated that on June 23, Aslan monitored the house of the girl, to break into the house and sexually assault a 15-year-old girl, taking advantage of the absence of her parents from the house.
Ezdina has reservations about mentioning the girl's name, as it did not obtain permission from her family to mention the name.
The team pointed out that the father of the minor girl submitted an official complaint to the "Civil Police" in Rajo, which arrested the aggressor, "Mamdouh Ramadan Aslan", but he was released within less than 24 hours.
The team added that the girl's father then submitted another official complaint about the incident to the 143 Brigade of the 9th Special Forces Division of the so-called "Syrian National Army", but they did not arrest the rapist, but rather threatened the girl's father to withdraw his complaint, otherwise they will arrest him.
The monitoring team confirmed that the girl's father has been threatened on a daily basis since then by the General 143 Brigade, to marry his daughter to the rapist, otherwise he will be imprisoned.
Ezdina had documented that an armed group kidnapped the girl, Hevin Hussein Dibso, 21 years old, from the town of Jenderas 20 km southwestern the occupied city of Afrin on April 11, 2020, when she was accompanied by her uncle to go to the market in the town of Jenderas, where the kidnapper "Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammad", a member of "Sultan Murad" group, on May 12, 2020, sent a marriage proof statement with his name and the name of the kidnapped girl, officially registered at the Justice Court in the Al-Ra’i Court near the city of Jarablus, in order to put the girl’s family under a fait accompli.
