The monitoring team of the Ezdina in Afrin, obtained exclusive information about the serious injury of a woman last Monday night, after the "Levant Front" militants attempted to kidnap her from her home in the Ashrafieh neighborhood in the occupied city of Afrin.
An armed group affiliated with the "Levant Front" faction stormed a civilian house from the village of Kafr Sheil, 2.5 km west of the occupied city of Afrin, and shot a man and his wife.
The monitoring team stated that a group affiliated with the security of the "Levant Front", which is under the command of gunmen, one of whom is named Mustafa Hashem from the town of Hayyan in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and the other is called Samir Jisriah, sent a patrol of three cars loaded with gunmen to attack the home of the citizen "Laila Omar" with the aim of kidnapping her.
The team added that the reason for the group's attack on the house of the citizen Laila is that she filed a complaint with the court in the occupied city of Afrin, against a gunman belonging to the "Levant Front" faction called Muhammad al-Musa, known as "Abu al-Fida", who has seized her house for three years.
The team indicated that the Afrin court and the leader of the Committee for the Response of Rights and Grievances, called Abdul Aziz Salama, known as "Abu Juma", issued a decision, last Monday, to vacate the house and hand it over to its owner, Laila Omar, and that the "Levant Front" militants tried to kidnap her to frame her and imprison her and demanded a financial ransom from her husband and forcing her to give up her seized house.
Regarding the new details, the team stated that the security group led by the gunman, Mustafa Bakour, from the village of Ainjara in the western countryside of Aleppo, was the one who attacked the house in the middle of the night, broke the door and entered it by force. This led to the couple’s injury, as the husband’s injury was light, while the wife sustained severe injuries to her leg, which caused severe bleeding, so she was subsequently transferred to the military hospital “the former Martyr Farzanda Military Hospital” in the occupied city of Afrin.
The team said that the hospital administration decided to transfer the injured wife to Turkey due to the seriousness of her health condition, but her husband refused to transfer her and insisted on her staying in one of the Afrin hospitals, fearing for her life, so she was transferred to “Ibn Sina” Hospital for treatment, and she was admitted to the operating room immediately to undergo a surgery for her leg.
The team added that several major arteries in the wife's leg were injured, which caused her to lose a lot of blood and her life was threatened, but after several hours her health condition stabilized, until there is a possibility that she will not be able to walk normally again, according to the doctors.
The team noted that the so-called Muhammad al-Musa is a relative of the official of the military police in Afrin, Muhammad Hamadin, known as "Abu Riyad", and that they hail from the village of "Um al-Karmel" in the southern countryside of Aleppo, where they work together to seize the homes of Kurdish civilians displaced from Afrin.
The team confirmed that the so-called Muhammad al-Musa was seizing four homes belonging to Kurdish civilians, including the house of the citizen Laila Omar, which is located near the "Suleiman al-Halabi".
The team indicated that the armed group, after the ambulance of the citizen Laila Omar, did not leave her house, but rather they put several bags of narcotic pills in her house, and falsely claim that they found them in the house and that they stormed the house according to the official approval of the general security official in the "Al-Jabha al-Shamiya" faction and the official about the security of the village of "Kfar Jannah" called "Abu Ali Naddaf", although the real reason is revenge against the citizen Laila.
It is worth noting that the Syrian opposition factions loyal to the Turkish occupation forces are committing violations against civilians, as these factions kidnap, threaten and kill civilians in the Afrin region, some detainees are brutally tortured and then released in order to intimidate and displace them from Afrin, for national and religious motives.
